I have a lot to write about my trip to Colorado this week, but as it’s 11 pm I will stick with what went on today!
I slept in peace until 9 am and it was wonderful. Most days I can’t sleep that late and usually now I am too uncomfortable to sleep much. I dilly-dalleyed and then we went and looked at a car that we are going to buy if it’s still there on Tuesday. Soon I will “have” to say good-bye to my 94 Eagle Vision. You were a good car. I hope we can find someone to take it off our hands, perhaps with a few hundred dollars in exchange.
After a quick trip to AutoZone, we went to Babies R Us to start our registry. It was exciting and crazy and overwhelming all at the same time. We won’t know the gender for another two weeks so we will go back and add boy or girl stuff, but I was itching to get started planning and just playing. We have had so much passed down to us already we don’t need that many big things. We did buy a swing at Opry Mills last night, a very nice baby papasan one, for half of what it costs in regular stores. I am a sucker for a good deal. 🙂
I am also starting to feel the baby move more and it’s so exciting. We went to see the musical Assassins tonight at the theater where we have season tickets. Baby really either enjoyed or hated one of the songs because he/she was kicking quite a bit. Still strange, but good! I love feeling it!
Good night for now!
