Have you ever felt like you needed to change everything about your life at once?
I am definitely not unhappy with my life! In fact, I feel very fulfilled in being a mother, having a wonderful husband, and working a job that I love even though it means being away from Libbie.
But all of a sudden I have gone through this whirlwind of thinking I need to be doing MORE to keep my household up. I guess just with going back to work I’ve been feeling the need to have more a schedule to keep myself in line. I also read all these blogs about saving money and feel like I do a pretty pathetic job of trying to save us money.
So I think each day this week I will be writing about one of those steps I am taking to “be the housewife I’m not.” And if you’re like me, someone who HATES cleaning, is too scatterbrained to budget and coupon, and has very little spare time now, maybe it will help you, too.
For now, here’s my menu plan for the week!
Monday: We didn’t make the Bruschetta Chicken Bake last week because we had pizza Sat. night at Jake and Nicole’s instead. So it’s tonight!
Tuesday: corn chowder (gonna make this up as I go along)
Wed: Chinese at church
Thursday: Skillet-Grilled Burritos
Friday: Thai Pesto Shrimp over Coconut-Lime Jasmine Rice
Saturday: supper club
Sunday: leftovers/pantry creation
