I failed to mention that Friday I guest posted for my VERY FAVORITE blogger, Miss OhAmanda herself. (I’m sure you had no idea how much I love her by now!!)

The post it about working motherhood and has gotten some great conversation going on in the comments. Check it out!

Yesterday, I worked an eight-hour day, complete with a video shoot. I picked up the baby from daycare, took her to Target, came home, warmed up dinner, fed us all, played with her on the floor, made banana bread while holding the baby, nursed twice, put her to bed, washed, dried, stuffed, and folded 17 cloth diapers, picked up the kitchen, washed dishes, paid bills, and spent a little quality time with my husband. 1. I loved your guest post! I am a teacher so I get to be a stay at home mommy in the summer and over holidays…the best of both worlds? Perhaps. I'm new to this so I'll have to let you know. Right now I am not looking forward to going back to work in August but I LIVE for my time off!

  2. Thanks for a post that made me misty-eyed. As a working mom with a baby in daycare you summed up how I feel exactly. I had a small meltdown last weekend about feeling like I don't have any time to spend with my daughter and was telling my husband that sometimes I feel like I am barely keeping my head above water. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who feels this way. I have few mom friends who work and the ones that do don't seem to have the same guilt and remorse that I do which makes it tough. I am thankful for your blog!
