Gearing up for some good cooking this week! Amidst working on a crazy project for Once a Month Mom. Life is exciting!
Lowlight: I was disappointed in the Slow Cooker Orange Chicken, especially since it got great reviews. It was too something–orangey, I guess. Not bad, but not something I would make again.
I’m going to be at Blissdom on Friday and Saturday nights, so I’m leaving the cooking up to my mother-in-law those nights!
leftovers we were stuffed from lunch at Red Lobster, so Mr. V had grilled cheese and I made an omelet. Which is what we always end up doing on Sundays!
Monday: Stewed Lentils and Tomatoes from Barefoot Contessa at Home, leftover London Broil. (Here’s Smitten Kitchen’s adaptation of the lentils.)
Tuesday: Chicken with White and Wild Rice Soup (also from Rachael Ray 365–I use this cookbook ALL THE TIME)
Wednesday: Leftover Buffet
Thursday: Ziti with Italian Sausage, Homemade Bread
