Jo-Lynne does this fun bloggy recap carnival each year. It’s a good way to take a walk down memory lane and for you to catch any interesting posts you might have missed! So here we go.

January: Well, it’s time once again for the rundown of my reading for this year. They might only be interesting to me, but I like sharing what I’ve read here. This was everything I read in 2009.

February: I’ve really been longing to go to a “whole foods” or “real foods” sort of diet for a long time. This was the start of my Whole Foods in a Hurry series, where I created and prepared a once-a-month cooking menu. I can’t say I’ve done the BEST with staying whole foods, especially since I got pregnant not long after this. But we’ve definitely made leaps and bounds this year.

March: This Friday, I will officially have been a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) for two months. A Top Ten Tuesday and one of my favorite posts from this year. {I am cheating at least on March and April because my real first posts there were just referrers.}

April: This is less a recipe and more a technique, but I had to share because Libbie is crazy about these. Yummy potato cubes! Of course, Libbie won’t touch them anymore. She only likes foods for 5 minutes.

May: Ten things that have caused Libbie to have a tantrum in the last 4 hours… Unfortunately, this still sounds mighty familiar.

June: There is not much lately that does not overwhelm me. This pregnancy was not easy for me. Physically, emotionally, spiritually.

July: Since it’s a holiday weekend, and I am not terribly inspired to post anything else, here’s your weekend linky love! Some fun links. Linky posts make me happy.

August: Sunday: Chicken and Pasta Alfredo  (didn’t get to last week). Menu Plan Monday.

September: Libbie, 3 days old. (Wordless Wednesday. Bathtime!)

October: I sank low in the beginning of this pregnancy. Part of my two-part history of depression series.

November: For starters, the birthday girl in her Dr. Seuss dress. Halloween pictures.

December: I think maternity pants must be made by men. And now we’ve reached the angry late-pregnancy posts!

Thanks for hanging in there with me through this wild 2010. Happy New Year!!

  1. I have been following your blog for a little over a year. It was so much fun to look back on some of your GREAT posts.
    Thanks for all the posts and keep them coming.

  2. Great posts! I've only been an avid blog-reader for a couple of months now, so it was nice to check back on your earlier posts.

  3. Isn't it so nice to read thru those and think, I'M NOT PREGNANT ANYMORE!!! lol. My 3rd pregnancy took a real toll on me and I still look at pregnant women sometimes and think PHEW! I'm done with THAT! LOL

    Happy New Year, dear!!!!

  4. Very nice recap – thanks for introducing me to Jo-Lynne's Recap Carnival. I've been reading you for a while, but this may be the first time I have commented.
