Two Reasons

Some days I just want to get on here and grouch. Today is one of those days. We had an especially rough day yesterday.

But I decided that it’s just not profitable to grouch.

I have two good reasons to try to stay in a good mood.

  1. I think you have a lot more than 2 reasons not to grouch. 🙂

Have you read One Thousand Gifts yet? It changed my life, Jessie. Changed. My. Life. And I'm only on chapter 3. I always thought Ann Voskamp was too brilliant for my feeble mind to comprehend, but that book has reached right into my body and grabbed my heart and I will never be the same.

All that being said, I think there's also value in modeling how to react to difficult situations for our children. They are little mirrors, after all. How would you want them to react when things don't go their way?

Love you, Mama. I hope things are easier for you today.
