Well, this week has turned out to be more interesting than I would have liked. Wednesday I got the bright idea that I would actually exercise and maybe it would make the ache in my left hip better. (Why yes, this is the same hip that I’ve had a chiropractor deal with, thousands of dollars worth of physical therapy, and still managed to throw out three times in the last 1.5 years.)
I guess on top of bread-baking, grocery shopping, and the normal lifting and playing with toddlers, it was too much. By Wednesday night I could hardly move. Thankfully my mom was here this week to help me take care of the kiddos.
I had an appointment with my midwife Thursday morning anyway, and she told me NO EXERCISE ALLOWED. That’s certainly the first time I’ve heard that from a medical professional. But being 7 months pregnant with a bulging disc in my back is apparently enough to make things really wonky. I’ve been in bed for most of three days now and am still in pretty bad pain.
So anyway, that’s why it’s 1 p.m. on Saturday before I got around to posting.
