Hi, friends. Sorry I missed last week. I’ve just felt a little discombobulated lately. I guess that comes with the whole three kids thing. Sometimes I feel more than a little over my head.

Anyway, this week has been strange but full of good and fun. And now my husband is on Thanksgiving break and we have a trip, family, and a wedding in our near future!

Here’s what I’ve read lately that’s good. If you have a post from last week, feel free to link it up, too, at the end.

Just a note that this linky is for your own link posts. If you have just one favorite post you want to share, leave it in the comments, OK?

So, what did you read that was great this week? Link up here. You can grab the code for the button in the sidebar, if you want. Please link back to Vanderbilt Wife and add the PERMALINK to your post, not your home page.

  1. Thanks for hosting, Jessie!

The comparison thing is so hard. I’ve struggled with it a lot this week. I’m blogging and trying to be more faithful about it but sometimes I wonder whether I’m just wasting my time. (But then I remember that I need the outlet, even if just my grandparents are reading. So I keep at it…)

The Victoria’s Secret post is so powerful too. Now that I’m raising a little boy this kind of thing really makes me pray harder and wonder how we can best protect his innocence. I’m going to share this post in my links next week.

    • Going to Allume really helped me take into perspective the comparison stuff. I think that’s something they addressed. A lot of times I feel like I’m writing the same thing as others but not as well, and why bother? But no one else has had the same life experiences as me exactly, right? So God must give me certain words for a reason. I hope so, at least!
