Date: February 28.
This meeting was especially warm and honest. We talked about what we often hide inside – burnout, chronic fatigue, feeling like you owe something all the time. The discussion centered on how to take care of yourself without waiting for the “extremes.”
What was talked about:
- Why it’s so hard to give yourself permission to rest.
- What signals the body gives when we ignore fatigue.
- How to regain silence and contact with yourself.
What participants shared:
Recovery rituals:
- someone makes tea with lavender and sits in silence for 10 minutes;
- someone goes out for an evening walk without their phone;
- someone knits or draws without thinking about the result.
Little pauses that fill the day:
- A favorite cup of coffee in the morning by the window;
- 15 minutes with a book before bed with no news;
- writing short notes in a personal journal.
Special moments:
One participant said: “I realized that I can be tired and not feel guilty about it. This is normal.”
We did a short practice together: we closed our eyes, took three deep breaths, and remembered a moment in the last month when it was truly peaceful.
The evening was a reminder: we are entitled to rest. We are important. Our “islands of rest” are not a luxury, but a necessity.
