Cooking Marathon: “Taste of May”

Date: May 4

This marathon was dedicated to the freshness of May and its vibrant seasonal produce. We were inspired by strawberries, young greens and potatoes and prepared dishes filled with spring mood, flavors and colors. Together we tried new recipes and shared ideas for cozy dinners and sweet treats.

What was cooking:

  • Salads with strawberries, mint and nuts;
  • Pies with young potatoes, herbs and cheese;
  • Light desserts with strawberries and cream;
  • Simple but delicious salad with arugula, avocado and olive oil.

What it was like:

  • In the chat room, we shared photos of our dishes and talked about the cooking process.
  • In the evening, there was a meetup where each participant talked about what seasonal produce inspired her and shared the final result – a pie, dessert or salad.

Special moments:

  • One participant showed how to use strawberries not only in desserts but also in salads, which was a real eye-opener for everyone.
  • We discussed how important it is to choose light, fresh foods in the spring that provide energy and enjoyment.

Bottom line:

This marathon was a real celebration of freshness, bright flavors and aromas, and we gathered a whole collection of recipes that create an atmosphere of fun and coziness in any kitchen.
